Most beach water sports in Goa run along the North Goa coast around Calangute, Baga and Candolim. Scuba diving and snorkeling happen at Grand Island, and the cruises sail the Mandovi River at Panjim. Here is what each activity involves and which of our packages include it.

Parasailing in Goa

You are clipped into a harness under a parachute and towed behind a speed boat, which lifts you above the sea for a wide view of the coastline. Parasailing is part of Adventure Water Sports and both scuba combos.

A short, fast ride across the waves on a personal watercraft. Jet ski rides are included in the five-ride water sports pack, the scuba combos and most of our boat parties.

Group rides towed behind a speed boat: the long banana boat seats riders in a row, and the bumper is a round inflatable tube. All three come with the ₹1,200 Adventure Water Sports pack.

Scuba diving in Goa

A guided dive with an instructor after a training session in confined water, so first-timers and non-swimmers can join. Our scuba combos include underwater photos and video and cost ₹1,500 per person.

A boat day out to Grand Island with snorkeling, fishing, dolphin sighting, snacks and a buffet lunch. The Grand Island Trip runs from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM and costs ₹1,200 per person.

Dinner and sunset cruises

Evening cruises on the Mandovi River with DJ music and a buffet dinner. The Romantic and Family dinner cruises are ₹1,200 per person, and the one-hour sunset cruise is ₹500.

Best time for water sports in Goa

October to May is the main season, when the sea is calm enough for beach water sports. From June to September the monsoon makes the sea rough and beach activities are usually suspended. Our Monsoon Special boat party from Panjim Jetty is the option for those months.

Where the activities happen

Beach rides run on the North Goa coast near Calangute, Baga and Candolim. Scuba and snorkeling trips go to Grand Island, with Malvan on the full-day combo. Cruises sail the Mandovi River at Panjim. We confirm the exact meeting point or pickup when you book.

What to bring

Wear swimwear or quick-dry clothes and carry a towel, a change of clothes and sunscreen. Keep phones and wallets in a waterproof pouch. Life jackets are provided on the water.

What is the price of water sports in Goa?

Our Adventure Water Sports pack covers five rides (jet ski, parasailing, banana ride, bumper ride and speed boat) for ₹1,200 per person. Scuba diving combos with water sports are ₹1,500 per person. Single activities start at ₹350 per person for the dolphin trip. Every price on this page is per person.

Which rides are included in the water sports package?

Jet ski, parasailing, banana ride, bumper ride and a speed boat ride. The pack runs between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Can non-swimmers do scuba diving in Goa?

Yes. Our scuba combos are open to non-swimmers. You train in confined water with a certified instructor before the dive, and a BCD jacket is included. The Grand Island trip and kayaking are open to non-swimmers too.

What is the best time for water sports in Goa?

October to May, when the sea is calm. During the monsoon, from June to September, beach water sports are usually suspended and river-based trips such as our Monsoon Special boat party are the option.

The Adventure Water Sports pack runs from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Scuba and island trips start between 7:30 and 8:30 AM and return between 4:00 and 6:30 PM. Dinner cruises start between 7:30 and 8:00 PM.
